Welcome-We're glad You're here

About the Pastor
Get to know more about what makes us different.
Hi, I’m Pastor Jeff Gramza, and I’m so glad you’re here. At Trinity Lutheran Church, we believe everyone needs a place to breathe, to belong, and to be reminded of God’s endless grace. Whether you’re a lifelong Lutheran, returning to church, or simply curious, you are welcome here.
Trinity is a warm, thoughtful, and generous congregation — a community rooted in Jesus, shaped by hope, and eager to listen for where God is calling us next. We value authentic faith, honest questions, meaningful worship, and the joy of being a church where all people — children included — are invited to grow in Christ’s love.

As your pastor, it’s my honor to walk with you in whatever season of life you’re in. My heart is for grace-filled preaching, compassionate presence, and creating a church where every person knows they matter.
Thank you for being part of this moment with us. Welcome to Trinity. We’re truly glad you’re here.

What to Expect
We know visiting a church for the first time can feel a little intimidating. So here’s a quick look at what you’ll find:
Worship Style
Trinity gathers for a relaxed, joy-filled Lutheran worship experience. We sing, pray, hear God’s Word, and celebrate the gift of grace together.
Come as your are
Dress in whatever makes you feel comfortable — jeans, dresses, sweaters, or Sunday best. You’ll fit right in.
How long is the worship service
Most services last about an hour. (But sometimes Pastor Jeff gets long-winded.)
Holy Communion
We celebrate communion each Sunday, and all are welcome at Christ’s table. If you’re wondering whether you or your children can commune — the answer is yes.

Kids' Praise
Children are invited to a special time just for them! After the Children's Sermon, young ones are welcome to leave the sanctuary for an age-appropriate lesson based on the very same scriptures we’re hearing in worship today. They will return before Communion.
Kids & Families are Welcome
We love children at Trinity — and we welcome the joyful sounds they bring!
- Kids are always welcome in worship
- We offer children’s messages at both Sunday Services
- Kids' Praise and midweek programs provide age-appropriate faith formation
- A nursery is available for little ones on Sunday's and Wednesdays.

Holy Communion

Typically there are 2 lines coming forward. First, you will be offered the host, the Body of Christ (a small wafer of bread). You will hear the words: "This is the Body of Christ given for you." (You may respond: Amen)
Then the Blood of Christ (red wine or white grape juice). A basket is available for your empty cups. You will hear the words: "This is the Blood of Christ shed for you." (You may respond: Amen)

At Trinity, the table of Holy Communion is not ours — it belongs to Christ.
And because it is Christ’s table, all are welcome.
Whether you are a lifelong Lutheran, visiting from another tradition, returning to church after time away, or exploring faith for the first time, we invite you to come with open hands and open hearts.
Here, God meets us not because we are perfect, but because God is gracious.
We receive the bread and wine as gifts of forgiveness and new life.
Children and Communion
Children are always welcome at the table.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to decide when their children are ready to receive communion. For families who would like it, we offer special instruction and conversation to help children learn about the sacrament in a way that is joyful, age-appropriate, and rooted in grace.
Children who are not yet communing are invited to come forward for a blessing.

If You’re Wondering…
You do not need to be a member of Trinity.
You do not need to be a member of the ELCA.
You do not need to have everything figured out.
You do not need to be “good enough.”
Christ welcomes you — fully and freely.
Come.
Taste and see that God is good.
